
The Department of Campus Recreation reports through the Division of Student Affairs and is primarily funded through the Student Activities Fee. Each semester $66.50 ($133/year) goes directly toward recreation facilities and programs.
Campus Recreation is a broad program, which includes organized and informal sports and physical activity programming. The Mission of the Department of Campus Recreation is to provide a variety of leisure activities, which are selected on the basis of their contribution to the lifetime development of the individual. In the University's concern for the intellectual development of its students, ample opportunities are also provided for the experiences through recreation programs, which offer physical, psychological, ethical and social development.
